“A person’s fear sets a trap for him,
but one who trusts the Lord is safe.” Proverbs 29:25 (GWT)
Did you know that fear in anyone but God is a sin? If you have the blood of Christ in you, you are a believer; not a doubter. Worry and fear cannot coexist with peacefully with our beliefs. They are symptoms of doubt.
We all have fears. We don’t have to broadcast it and put our fear out in public so everyone knows. But we all battle with fears. Your not alone so do not worry. If you tend to have fear (does not matter if its logical or irrational) think about this. If our God saved us from sin, He can save us from whatever we are afraid of. Do not listen to the voice of fear more than you listen to God!
If you want to be free from having fear. Just say no… It seems kind of silly to just say no to fear. But think of it like this. When fear comes knocking, just ignore it. Tell it to go away. Now I’m not saying it will never stop knocking, but just do not answer the door anymore. Like my parents tell me time and time again “LOCK THE DOOR!” God doesn’t want you answering to fear, or doubt or worry anymore. Deadbolt that door and it won’t get in.
“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NIV
Fear is a disregard of what Christ is doing for you. Take God’s hand and walk with him don’t call him a liar or doubt what he has in store for. Trust him.

*Note: I know I am not the only one struggling with this. Its a new season for everyone with school starting and i have not had time to post since college is currently taking all of my time. But if I am being attacked then maybe you are too, and I want to share this because God has a message not just for me but you as well :)
